"Quality Over All": Multi-Lingual Shopping & Despatch Service

If you're a shoe lover, you will recognise Melvin & Hamilton's classic leather shoes; traditionally tainted and milled by hand for their distinctive look - many with young innovative designs for outside the office. The company are based in Paris, where they handcraft and ship their stunning collections to more than 40 countries.

Melvin & Hamilton pride themselves on high quality in every corner of their business, and this extends to their customer experience, with multi-lingual websites and shipping despatch notes to match. They needed their warehouse system integrating with couriers local to them and international services such as DHL Germany. The company also wanted custom dispatch and return notes with their branding for different languages.

With Shipster, we can create rules for almost any attribute or variable attached to each product in your warehouse system. Since we have a destination country for each of Melvin & Hamilton's shipments, we were able to create dispatch note "language" rule. This means that if the package was headed to the UK, the invoice and returns will print in English, German for Germany and French for France etc. It's a very easy process for us once the notes have been created in each language and saves packers on the ground lots of time.

Oddware Director Hayley comments,

"They have my favourite despatch note; it's beautiful. You can immediately tell they are high-end and customers love details like this. I want a pair of their Sallys."

The M&H despatch note prints in 4 different languages.

Melvin & Hamilton went live with Shipster in 2016 and have been shipping successfully since, amidst rapid growth.

Update: Since this time, Statista and The Financial Times have rated Melvin & Hamilton one of the 1,000 Fastest Growing Companies in Europe (FT1000).
