About Us


At Global Football Company we sell mostly official licensed football merchandise created in conjunction with the major English Premier League clubs and their licensing partners. We operate at wholesale and retail level, so we supply many trade accounts both in the UK and abroad via www.globalfootballcompany.com and we sell direct to consumers via our own web site www.footballshoponline.com as well as multiple marketplaces around the world. We also dabble in the manufacture of more generic, own-branded memorabilia and match-wear via www.fanoriginals.com.

The Decision


So as our expansion necessitated the need for larger and more suitable premises around five years ago, we recognised the need for a more sophisticated solution to our picking, packing and general warehouse operations. Peoplevox was chosen as a Warehouse Management System and Shipster as the carrier management solution to cope with our ever more complex requirements. The appeal of Shipster over its competition at the time was based on a number of factors.

Approach. The company’s relaxed and no-nonsense approach put our minds at ease in what we felt was a fairly daunting (for us!) operational transformation

Price. Whilst other companies opted to ‘play the game’ re cost and pricing structures, Shipster’s straightforward and fair approach once again appealed to the way we like to operate

The Results


Now into the sixth year of our partnership, we are happy to report that things continue to run smoothly and even improve.

In Summary


Shipster have grown alongside us and the relationship has endured as that of a partnership and extension to our team. The company has calmly helped us through some extremely heavy peak periods and problematic episodes such as Brexit in recent years. The company’s software and processes are always up-to-date with the ever-changing demands of various marketplaces, couriers and officialdom. Moreover, nothing seems to unsettle the fantastic staff at Shipster and their willingness to go the extra mile to assist.

Overall, one of our better decisions. And long may it continue…
