The World's Largest BMX Store: Bike Frames & Small Parts

SourceBMX is the world's largest BMX Store run by and for passionate BMX riders with an eye for the best BMX brands. Spearheaded by two brothers Marc Moore and Richard Moore, SouceBMX also built Source Park - the underground skate park in Hastings for regular riders, lessons, parties and huge biking and skating events. 

SourceBMX sells a large array of specialised products, some big and some small, from BMX bikes to frames, wheels, clothing and small parts. This calls for a smart shipping system that is efficient for both the client and end customer. Source uphold big promises to their customers and it is was our job to ensure this continued into their shipping system. When Source came to us in late 2017, they needed new integrations with their trusted couriers Royal Mail and DPD Local (previously "Interlink"), specifically, to ship via tracked, signed-for and next-day delivery, dependent on the end customer's purchase and location.

Talking about the project, Shipster Onboarder Hayley says, 

"When the products sold come in various sizes, types or bundles, we can create rules in Shipster to automatically ship by a preferred courier or shipping method for each variable. In this case, much of this was cleverly taken care of by Source's website which creates shipping options for the customer based on what's in their shopping basket. We just had to ensure the fulfilment of this service and create the efficiency needed to despatch all in-stock orders placed before 2.30pm the same day."

We would also like to note that whilst all of our clients are a pleasure to work with, our appreciation goes out to Marc who's hard work and passion for SourceBMX could be felt 300 miles away. When it comes to security-sensitive issues such as account details and credentials with individual couriers and other parties, a lot of cooperation is needed with the client. SourceBMX were extremely efficient at liaising information, ensuring the packing PCs were available for us to remotely access and keeping third parties on their toes. Despite a bump in the road with some printer issues, everything went quickly and smoothly and we largely put this down to the efficiency at their end. 

Update: Today, SourceBMX are shipping to over 210 countries via Shipster with DPD, Royal Mail and FedEx.
